How I work
My approach is built on presence and paying deep attention to your people and your story. I’m not just your photographer, I’m here to make your day feel more like yours – and to stand in between you and anything that disrupts your peace.
My goal is always to keep you grounded in the moment, not pulled out of it. I’m here to witness the quiet moments and the explosively loud ones, taking great images, and not interrupt the experience. I’ll sometimes give you clear guidance on posing, and sometimes you’ll forget I’m even there.
It’s easy to lose track of everything you’re experiencing on such big, full days. With the photos and videos we gather, I want you to be able to use the photos and videos we gather to go back to the real moment, every time.
What it actually looks like:
1.
No hour-based packages. I don’t leave until I’ve captured images that reflect the love between you and your partner. It’s not about checking off a shot list, it’s about getting the image.

No one gets left out. Making your guest list was a big deal. If someone is important enough to be at your wedding, they’re important enough to be remembered. My goal is to get great footage of each person laughing, dancing, crying, or having a great time.
3.
Your VIPs are my VIPS. Part of what makes a wedding so special and memorable is getting to see all your most beloved people all together. That’s important to my work. I’ll make sure everyone feels as central as they are, both on the actual day and in your gallery.

The focus is on preserving your joy, not shaping it. I’m always observing, I when to step in with pose coaching and when to document from the edges. I won’t push you into poses that don’t feel right, I won’t interrupt the full-body singalong, I won’t leave you hanging waiting for the shutter click. I know when I’ve captured the moment, that way I can let it breath.

I make a space for you. I know how meaningful it is for feel seen and safe, especially for queer and trans couples. I move with intentional calm and warmth. I offer emotional safety and support from behind the lens. You feeling present in the experience is the most important part. That’s why it’s so important to me that everyone feels comfortable and confident in their day and in front of the camera.

I blend film and digital for an emotional, cinematic look. I use Super 8 film, old camcorders, and mirrorless cameras for videography. I use 35mm film, Polaroids, 2000s era digital cameras, and mirrorless cameras for photography. Film is how the eye sees it, it always feels most aligned with the memory itself. Digital brings speed and flexibility that you want on a busy, important day. Both my photography wedding couples and my videography wedding couples choose hybrid coverage for the best of both.

It’s about you and your love. I make space for you, without applying expectation or copy+pasting poses. I’m focused on you and your experience, diffusing tensions and keeping you goals in front of us.
What sets me apart?
I know when to be vocal and when to fade into the background. I make room for your silliness, your seriousness, and everything in between. I make it easy to be in front of the camera, and love the images your get after it’s all said and done. Even if you’re camera shy, neurodivergent, or just not used to being seen.
Collect
Individual headshots, creative family sessions, branding suites, and the big day itself; I’ll help plan things out then arrive to record, direct, and make some memories with you.
Assemble
After the videos and photos have been taken, I ship off the film, create back-ups of all our content, and hide away in my editing room to weave the story together.
Deliver
You receive everything in a digital gallery with easy print ordering options. If I have the pleasure of designing a print album for you, a beautifully bound version will be shipped to you.
